Libby Jones

For my final major project, I am going to look at the word “Structure”. This is defined as “The arrangement of and relations between the parts or elements of something complex”. I want to take a photography approach to my project as I know that it is my strongest discipline. I plan to approach it in a graphic design representation because I like to work with strong colours, and I also love to create bold, interesting and detailed compositions with lines and block colours. I am going to work with man-made structures, and I will use things like bridges, buildings and mechanical structures too. The outcomes that I am thinking of making are montages, posters and possibly a magazine front cover. I just want to explore graphic design because I prefer to use experimentation and I also want to use the new techniques that I have learned this year, like marbling and 3D styles with photography and digital manipulation.
